The Plot: Analysis of Dune: Part Two as a Film

This chapter does promise more war, politics, and internal discord as Paul comes to terms with his personal abilities and the burdens they carry.

Alongside the evolution of Paul as a leader, Villeneuve also indicated that Dune Part Two Two will explore the intimate relationship between Paul and Chani, a member of the Fremen who contributes tremendously to the narrative. The connection of these two characters morphs into one of the emotional pillars of the film.

The characters of the Emperor Shaddam IV, Princess Irulan, and the bolding god ‘Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen’ will be of great interest for the readers of Herbert’s novel. Their involvement suggests new layers of disputes within the already presented order of things of the universe.
